The Impact You\'ll Make

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for an experienced and visionary Sales Director to lead our District Energy Hub North , covering the Nordics and UK .

In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring strong collaboration across the business to deliver sustainable energy solutions to our customers.

You will lead a high‑performing sales team, set the strategic direction for the region, and ensure flawless execution of our go‑to‑market plans. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the energy transition while working in a global leader in climate and energy solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team within the Sales HUB, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement & growth mindset.
  • Drive change and innovation within the HUB, encourage creativity and new approaches and ensure alignment / knowledge sharing.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities in the Sales HUB area.
  • Develop and implement market‑specific sales strategies to achieve business objectives (where to play and how to play).
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical execution to ensure successful implementation of plans.
  • Deliver measurable results aligned with KPI’s, and driving impactful outcomes.
  • Together with your team, develop long lasting customer relationships and act as high‑level sales representative for Danfoss.

What We\'re Looking For

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within the energy, HVAC, or district heating sector.
  • Strong understanding of district energy systems, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks in the Nordics and UK.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in complex B2B environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation and collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
