We are Salish Elements, an Indigenous-owned hydrogen company making reliable and regenerative hydrogen (rH2) fuel supply a reality in British Columbia. Our mission is to work with First Nations and become leaders in a global shift to green energy; advancing an equitable, regenerative economy that serves the lands, waters, and people. For the last 3 years, we have been developing our core market-offering, rH2, and are now working toward construction of our first hydrogen production utility. Role Description
We’re looking for a strategic, driven, and values-aligned Senior Sales Manager to join our team and take the lead on sales and commercial development — working closely with our CEO and the Marketing and Business Development teams to build and scale our commercial success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute our sales strategy, from prospecting to closing
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders including Indigenous communities and governmental institutions
- Collaborate with the CEO and Business Development team on high-level sales initiatives and strategic growth
- As part of the broader Marketing / BD / Sales team, develop sales processes, tools, and reporting systems from the ground up
- Prepare and close sales agreements across the hydrogen value chain
- Generate leads with potential hydrogen off-takers
- Work on business cases and feasibility studies with the Business Development and Engineering team
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community engagements
- Help shape our market positioning and go-to-market strategy
Required
5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in clean tech, energy, or infrastructureStrong strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills — you’re both a planner and a doerStrong leadership and team management skillsThe ability to translate complex data and customer insights into actionable sales strategiesDemonstrated ability to lead multi-stakeholder negotiations and communications while maintaining cross-partner alignmentExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilitiesMicrosoft Office suite expertise and ability to set up reports and presentationsNice to have
