Starting in October 202 5 , our prestigious European Graduate Program provides an immersive experience from day one. Your personal and professional development will be supported by networking sessions with graduates from other European countries and departments, and various trainings, including a six-month development program, 'Making of Champion’ which will focus on your leadership skills and attitudes that will enable you to realise more of your potential, achieve meaningful work and personal goals, and develop success habits.

All this knowledge and experience will be demonstrated during half-yearly reflection presentations with senior business leaders.

What will your journey look like?

Your first 1 2 -month assignment will be in the Sony Europe Design Centre (EUDC) in Norway , when you will have the opportunity to work on an R&D assignment to learn CMOS image sensor (CIS) technology and design.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity for a second assignment , up to 6 months in another Sony Design Centre in Italy . On this occasion , you will have a chance to gain a dynamic and challenging view of Sony Semiconductor Solutions Europe , its diverse technologies, projects and different markets.

Finally, in the final 6-month assignment , you will have the opportunity to put into practice what you learn with a new project including product design.

As part of the 2-year program, you will be exposed to a broad range of technologies, resources and activities . You will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge but also immerse yourself in what it means to be a professional in a multinational organisation and to understand where your career could take you.

At the end of your second assignment, in October 202 7 , you will be ready to thrive & take on a new responsibility and further develop your career in Sony Europe in a permanent role i n our international and multicultural team .

Job Purpose :

Reporting to the Analogue Design Manager, this position is expected to work and be trained on the analog circuit design, simulation, layout implementation and physical verification, for CMOS image sensor (CIS) technology and sensor architecture.

You will p erform measurements of image quality (IQ) characteristics , s upport the development of SW tools / scripts to support CIS measurements , s ummarize and report measurement results , and p repare design documentation.

You will work with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams ( e.g. digital design team, analog design team, architecture team), following the EUDC design methodology . Periodical reporting, design and architecture reviews, and participation in internal seminars and training are part of the activity.

You will have :

M aster’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Physics . Semiconductor physics is a benefit.

English speaking and in addition , Norwegian is also preferred, but not essential.

Practical e xperience with electronic circuits.

Lysaker - European Development Centre (EUDC)

Our modern furnished Lysaker office is based in the business district close to a large park and the sea, so you can enjoy a walk or a bike ride on your break, with some cafés and shops nearby too. We have free coffee and fruit available in the kitchen as well as a canteen serving a range of meals. We have a diverse group of employees here from many international regions. The office is located just outside Oslo, with Gardermoen International Airport a short distance away. The office is a very short walk from Lysaker Train Station.
