Overview

Technical Security Architect – Oslo

Our global consultancy client is expanding rapidly and has several exciting projects underway. As part of this growth, they are seeking a Technical Security Architect to help digitise and modernise critical IT solutions for some of Norway’s most important organisations. This role is an opportunity to work on societally critical assignments , designing and implementing innovative security solutions that protect digital assets and ensure resilience in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security architectures and strategies for large-scale IT environments.
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices and security standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical teams to deliver secure, holistic solutions.
  • Conduct risk analyses and vulnerability assessments, addressing threats proactively.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in real time.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, information security, or related.
  • 4+ years of experience in security architecture and design.
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust , DevSecOps , IAM, or network security.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO2700x, or NSM principles .
  • Experience with security in microservices / event-driven architectures and tools (SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication in Norwegian and English .
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
