Business Development Manager – Downhole Tools (Norway)

We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Downhole Tools to join our Dril-Quip Innovex team in Norway . In this role, you’ll help shape and execute the region’s strategic business growth plans, identify new opportunities, and strengthen our market presence across the Downhole Tools product line.
Your focus will be on building strong relationships, driving sales initiatives, and working closely with internal teams to deliver value to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Research market trends and identify new clients, applications, and market segments.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies aligned with business growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry players.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the full sales cycle : prospecting, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to align customer and business needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and technical presentations.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in business development within the oil & gas sector, especially with Oil Companies, Drilling Contractors, Consultants, and Engineering Houses.Solid knowledge of Downhole Tools, including liner hanger systems, completions, and drilling / production practices.Technical background with the ability to support clients and deliver impactful presentations.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret technical content and market data.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of navigating competitive and evolving markets.Must have the right to work in Norway or the ability to secure required work permits.Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.Why Join Us
