Corporate Legal Counsel

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate Legal Counsel to join our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Required Qualifications

Master of Law degree from a Norwegian or Swedish university.

3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably from a commercial law firm or an in-house legal function within an industrial enterprise, energy, or finance sector.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.

Proven ability to draft legal documents in English.

Solid commercial understanding and ability to apply legal principles in a business context.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Adequate computer proficiency.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Language skills in German, French, Spanish, or Chinese.

Competence or experience in one or more of the following areas :

Intellectual property, particularly patent law

Dispute resolution, negotiations, arbitration, or court proceedings

Corporate governance

Stock exchange regulations

Company law

GDPR

Competition law

Experience or interest in conducting internal training sessions
