Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a kitchen team of 20-30 professionals.
- Innovate and adjust menu offerings in alignment with the hotel's standards and guest preferences.
- Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, promoting continuous professional growth.
- Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline kitchen operations.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or a Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef role.Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sizeable team in a high-volume, international hotel restaurant environment.Creative culinary skills with the ability to adapt and innovate menus, including for large-scale events such as weddings and conferences.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Commitment to exceptional guest service.Experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly regarded but not essential.Deep understanding of buffet service dynamics, especially in the context of large events and gatherings.The location is a skiing resort in Trysil municipality, about 3 hours of driving from Oslo.
