Technical Trainees 2026 – Ship Classification at DNV. This program is designed for graduates who want to start their careers in the Maritime business and join the Technical Trainee Program starting August 2026. The program lasts 16 months and includes modules with international exposure to ship classification operations.

The Role
Ship Classification is the backbone of our Maritime business, delivering trusted approval, verification, and certification services for vessels and components worldwide. The Approval Centre, with teams in Gdynia, Hamburg, and Oslo (Høvik), offers a professional and collaborative environment where you can grow your expertise and make an impact in the maritime industry.
We are primarily hiring graduates with relevant master program specializations and will select candidates based on business needs aligned with your education, experience, and background. Please indicate your master program specialization and / or main area of study during the application process.
