5+ years of professional experience in Nepalese cuisine preparation.

Expertise in tandoor cooking, curry blends, naan, and traditional Himalayan dishes.

Strong leadership skills with experience in kitchen management.

Familiarity with Norwegian / European kitchen safety standards (training provided if needed).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to seasonal demands.

Fluency in English; basic Norwegian is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare authentic Nepalese dishes, including Nepalese curries, momos, tandoori, naan, and regional specialties.
  • Oversee tandoor operations and ensure high-quality bread / grilled items.
  • Manage kitchen staff, inventory, and food costs while maintaining hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials.
  • Train junior chefs and maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Ensure adherence to Norwegian food safety regulations.
