Atlona Promotes Paul Krizan To Product Line Manager

Experience and Background

Paul Krizan , promoted to product line manager at Atlona, joined Atlona as product manager, networked AV in 2020, where he was responsible for managing the lifecycle for the company’s AV-over-IP products. His achievements include the development and launch of OmniStream 2.0, a firmware upgrade that added 4K / 60 4 : 4 : 4 video support, improved bitrate efficiency, integrated multiview processing and near-zero latency to existing OmniStream hardware. He previously worked in product management roles at AMX, Harman and Signify.

Responsibilities and Focus

Current scope : leading Atlona’s product management and hardware engineering teams and maintaining and evolving the company’s portfolio of collaboration, connectivity and control products worldwide. Objective is to align all product development efforts with Atlona’s strategic initiatives and to bring new products and solutions to market that support integration and end-user requirements in core education and corporate verticals. Emphasis on Networked AV, USB-C transport and BYOD landscape, with ongoing efforts to simplify product designs for easier installation and use.

Leadership Perspective

“My main objective is to align all product development efforts with Atlona’s strategic initiatives,” says Krizan. “That means bringing new products and solutions to market to support integration and end user requirements in our core education and corporate verticals. Networked AV, USB-C transport and an evolving BYOD landscape remain important development areas from a technology standpoint. We will also continue to simplify our product designs in ways that make them easier to install and use.”
