ValueOne is recruiting an Associate Director Production for our customer Curida in Elverum, Norway. Are you an adept leader within pharmaceutical industry looking for a new challenge? The Curida Group is an international pharmaceutical company in Norway. We carry out the production and development of pharmaceuticals and food products on behalf of our customers. Our traditional factory in Elverum is specialized in liquid products, and we have advanced technology for the production of a variety of product types. We also offer laboratory analysis and various services within pharmaceutical development, as well as raw material services. Our business in Oslo, Diatec, specializes in biotechnology and the production of antibodies. Our business in Ås, Ås Produksjonslab, produces liquid non-sterile pharmaceuticals that are distributed via Norwegian hospitals and pharmacies. We operate in the international market and produce mainly for export. The company is in an exciting growth phase. The role

As Associate Director Production you will head an organisation of approximately 60 employees spread over three main production areas, each headed by a manager who will report directly to you.

You will report directly to the Director Operations and will be a part of the Site Leadership Team.

Main tasks :

• Meeting Production targets such as budget and KPI’s
• Ensuring adherence to HSE&S, cGMP and other related standards
• Meeting strategic objectives and deliverables according to agreed plans
• Upholding company values and leadership culture, promoting positive and effective behaviour.
• Ensuring all equipment and facilities are properly maintained, with preventive maintenance and calibrations programs in place in cooperation with the Maintenance department.
• Identifying bottlenecks in key processes, equipment, and / or employee capabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies
• Initiating and assisting production related projects and initiatives, as well as representing Production in the Project Steering Committee
• Participating in the Site Leadership Team

Experience and competencies

We are looking for an experienced leader in pharmaceutical industry operations with a technical or pharmaceutical degree. You have a strong background in operational transformation, LEAN, cost-saving initiatives, and project management. With solid knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards, you’ve led organizations through growth and continuous improvement. You’re a collaborative communicator, fluent in English and a Scandinavian language, who inspires teams, drives results, and thrives in dynamic environments. As a leader you take ownership, dare to challenge the status quo, and foster a culture of feedback and teamwork.

Curida AS in Elverum is in an exciting phase where profitable operations are combined with the realization of great growth opportunities. From the start in 2015, Curida has grown from 40 to 180 employees – and we will double turnover by 2028. At Curida, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the production of products to deliver the targeted growth. The factory is a cornerstone company in Elverum and employs over 130 people out of the total 180 in the Curida group. The factory produces sterile and non-sterile liquid pharmaceuticals and export to more than 80 countries.
