JobbeskrivelseBachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 12 years’ relevant experience with onshore and offshore facilities EX certificate (to be renewed every 5 years). If candidate has no EX-certificate, the course must be taken as soon as possible after starting work Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design and calculations of electrical heat-trace systems for offshore projects Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC Familiar with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English — both orally and in writing Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment A natural team player, but able to work independently Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others Workplace : Asker, Oslo Start : Duration : Application deadline : ASAP; we will also consider candidates for similar or other relevant positions consecutively Professional development and flexibility by working in projects with major oil, gas and land-based industry Close follow-up of each employee Insurance benefits Social activities Training support Mid-Senior level Contract Oil and Gas
Overview
Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are looking for an Electrical / Heat Trace Engineer to work on a large EPC project.
You will join a major green field project and have the opportunity to develop your own skills with respect to electrical heat trace design.
Responsibilities
- Calculate, select, and oversee heat trace cable design
- Design and follow up on heat trace requirements per P&IDs and project solutions
- Input, update and maintain heat trace engineering register
- Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings and coordinate between fabrication and engineering teams
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure compliant, reliable heat tracing solutions
