Job Description

  • Calculation, selection, and follow-up of heat trace cable design
  • Design and follow-up of heat trace requirements according to P&ID’s and project solutions
  • Input, update, and maintenance of heat trace engineering register information
  • Generation of heat trace ISO’s from Aveva E3D
  • Preparation and update of heat trace MTO’s
  • Participation in meetings between fabrication and engineering
  • Interface and collaboration with other disciplines

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical College combined with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in onshore and offshore facilities
  • EX course (renewed every 5 years). If the candidate does not hold an EX certificate, the course must be completed as soon as possible after starting work
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design of electrical heat-trace systems for offshore projects
  • Experience and strong knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
  • Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks
