The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Developmental Behavioral Pediatric, Assistant / Associate Professor, Pediatrics Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The Department of Pediatrics at The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV is seeking a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our established team in Las Vegas, NV. This position will work closely with our collaborative team of physicians and with the Grant A Gift Autism Foundation, Nevada’s leading nonprofit clinic specializing in autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Must be Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, Nevada pharmacy and DEA licenses, and malpractice insurance. They must also meet credentialing requirements and be able to obtain privileges at affiliated hospitals and other site locations as needed.
The candidate’s educational credentials, terminal degree, experience in an academic medical institution or equivalency, research and scholarly activity will be considered in determining the candidate’s recommended rank. The SOM Faculty Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure (FAPT) Committee will use the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV (SOM) promotion criteria to recommend rank to the Dean of the SOM. Tenure consideration may be given upon hire on a case by case basis depending on verified previous credentials, the FAPT recommendation, and SOM Dean's recommendation.
