The Completion Engineer Electrical shall perform, and control completion and commissioning activities related to electrical systems, including planning, preparation, execution, and hand over to next phase.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain safe working routines during execution of construction and commissioning to ensure compliance with project safety regulations, aiming for zero incidents, injuries, and losses.
- Review contractors' installation procedures for electrical apparatus.
- Participate in establishing the contractor's commissioning team with the necessary competence and capacity to perform electrical system commissioning.
- Review and create commissioning procedures for dedicated systems.
- Issue and maintain commissioning boundary documentation for efficient schedules.
- Lead commissioning activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical systems.
- Secure training and development of personnel within the commissioning organization related to electrical installations.
- Ensure relevant training certifications for contractors' personnel working on or near HV apparatus.
- Participate in MC verification of equipment and packages to achieve 'Ready for Commissioning' status, ensuring smooth transfer from construction to commissioning.
- Follow up on punch work and punch list documentation and clearance.
- Ensure drawings and documents are updated with changes identified during commissioning, and as-built documentation is maintained.
- Facilitate experience transfer from / to other relevant projects and the base organization.
- Identify and follow up on risks and opportunities related to construction and commissioning.
- Evaluate and verify procedures and work instructions used during commissioning, ensuring understanding among personnel.
- Assess provisions for commissioning during design.
- Maintain good relationships with contractors and operations.
- Lead, execute, and supervise commissioning activities.
- Responsible for handover of the facility to Operations by issuing RFOC (Ready for Operation Certificates).
- Participate in developing strategies, budgets, plans, procedures, routines, ATS requirements, FAT, UFAT, RISK, and work processes for commissioning.
- Execute commissioning according to company standards.
- Identify and propose temporary measures needed for commissioning.
- Recommend Commissioning SPIR.
- Participate in engineering and construction meetings to ensure commissioning tasks are executed properly.
Required expertise
University degree or equivalent.Result and safety oriented.Experience in oil and gas projects.Extensive knowledge of FEF & FSE.Extensive knowledge of company governing documentation.Well-developed team-building, cooperation, and communication skills.Ability to handle responsibility and high workloads periodically.Ability to drive activities to complete on schedule.Establish good relations with contractors.Location : The position is located at Site; Bergen, and will be a rotational position.
