Offshore certification: Required

Sperton Norway AS is looking for an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer SEIT for an assignment in Trondheim.

You will support commissioning and completion activities from preparation and supplier follow-up through testing, start-up and final handover, working closely with technical disciplines, suppliers, subcontractors and the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the project completion system.

  • Follow up suppliers and subcontractors on Mechanical Completion, preservation and final delivery.

  • Ensure HSSE requirements are planned, implemented and followed up throughout commissioning.

  • Attend and verify Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at supplier locations when required.

  • Develop and maintain system boundary drawings in accordance with the completion strategy.

  • Develop and deliver interdisciplinary test procedures.

  • Follow up Mechanical Completion at the construction site.

  • Coordinate and execute interdisciplinary inspections and punch-outs with the customer.

  • Plan, prepare and execute commissioning and start-up activities.

  • Prepare for and take responsibility for final handover to the customer.

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical education, preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. A relevant apprenticeship certificate is an advantage.

  • Preferably at least three years of commissioning experience, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

  • Experience with Mechanical Completion and commissioning execution in maintenance or modification projects.

  • Experience with ProCoSys, MIPS, Fusion and TIME.

  • Good understanding of work procedures across disciplines, including interfaces and dependencies.

  • Good general computer skills and relevant automation competence.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in Norwegian and English.

  • Valid offshore certification.

Experience with the following software is beneficial:

  • ProCoSys, MIPS, Fusion, TIME
