Join Our Procurement Team

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team in Oslo. Reporting to the VP of Purchasing (Nordics & Europe), you will play a key role in sourcing materials, equipment, and services that support our operations and projects across Norway.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supplier engagement, negotiation, procurement planning, and ensuring the right products are delivered at the right time and cost. You'll work closely with vendors, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to help drive operational efficiency and business success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Source materials, equipment, and services from suppliers to support operational and project requirements.

• Research potential products, suppliers, and services, comparing quality, pricing, and value.

• Request quotations and negotiate commercial terms and contracts with vendors.

• Monitor purchasing costs and manage procurement records and contracts.

• Liaise with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time and in full.

• Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders when required.

• Inspect delivered goods and resolve any issues with suppliers promptly.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and purchasing documentation.

• Produce purchasing reports and perform cost analysis to support decision-making.

• Attend meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and supplier visits to build relationships and identify new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.

• Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is advantageous.

Experience

• Previous retail, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or similar experience.

• Understanding of inventory management and supply processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong research, negotiation, and networking skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
