The position is based in our Bergen Office. Depending on location there may be travel internationally / offshore.
Responsibilities
- As a coordinator for offshore personnel, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating staffing and logistics related to offshore operations. You will serve as the key link between HR, operations, management, and offshore employees
- Share responsibility for developing action plans, targeting the company and the department's current strategy
- Follow instructions and procedures to maintain quality and effective implementation of the work
- Rotate Offshore Personnel for the unit, in cooperation with the HR Supervisor
- Utilize the systems, reports and applications required for the position
- Ensure final input to payroll (approval of hours, travel and expenses etc.)
- Ensure that the company’s applicable personnel system is used in connection with offshore personnel
- Follow-up of the units’ personnel issues in close collaboration with Operations Management, including input to the Offshore and Rig Manager
- Propose improvements and register discrepancies with corrective actions
- Maintain competency in using company systems
- Contribute to the development of the HR Operating Model 2.0 and business improvement agenda
- Strengthen workforce planning, succession and development to have the right people in the right place
- Be trained and qualified to be part of the duty phone and next of kin group
Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years HR experience from offshore, shipping or similar industriesRelevant higher education (Bachelor / Master). Extent HR experience may compensate for formal educationGood teamwork and communication skills, flexible and dedicatedAbility to work independently and take responsibilityDedicated to working with peopleAbility to work with accuracy and structure in a systematic wayWillingness to travel internationally and domesticallyFluent in English, written and spoken, especially for international operationsWhat we offer
