Fishman Transducers has announced the appointment of Jay Blout as global OEM sales manager and Evan Allen as product manager.
Blout rejoins company as global OEM sales manager while Allen is named product manager, focusing on making products that enable musicians to focus on their craft by removing technical hurdles.
Background — Jay Blout
Blout previously worked for Fishman from 1999 to 2009 and rose to the position of North American distribution manager, and in the interim years, held positions with TASCAM, NS Design and Harman Pro Audio, developing sales and account management experience. He will be working with more than 100 instrument manufacturers, including Fender, Epiphone, C.F. Martin, ESP, Ibanez, Breedlove, Guild, and Schecter.

Allen brings a decade of experience managing and marketing products for creatives, first at iZotope and later Artiphon. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Electronic Production & Design from Berklee College of Music and specializes in making products that enable musicians to focus on their craft by removing technical hurdles.
