We are looking for qualified nurses to join the municipal healthcare services in a beautiful region of Finnmark, Northern Norway. The main responsibilities will be in home care services and long-term care facilities.
This is an opportunity for EU-trained nurses who want to work closely with patients who truly rely on professional stability, compassion and continuity – while living in one of the most unique natural and cultural regions in Europe.
Your main responsibilities includes:
- Providing home nursing care to patients in their own homes
- Working in a nursing home or assisted living facility
- Daily patient follow-up, medication management, observation and documentation
- Close collaboration with relatives, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Contributing to quality improvement and development of local routines
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a valid license as a nurse from an EU/EEA country
- Is motivated to obtain Norwegian authorisation (we assist with the process)
- Speak fluent English and are highly motivated to learn Norwegian
- Are willing to complete our free Norwegian language course
- Works independently and in a structured way
- Enjoys teamwork and has genuine compassion for patients
- Is flexible and able to adapt to different work situations
- Holds a driver’s license
