We are currently looking for a high-performing person for Field Service Technician / Engineer . In this role you will be apart ofPropulsion Team for Field Service. The role will be based in Kongsberg Maritime - Product Support Services, Gdynia.

Field Service Technician / Engineer

Location : Gdynia, Product Support Services

Key responsibilities :

• Inspection, repair and adjustment of control systems (electrical) dedicated to propulsion / thrusters products in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations. Support handling technical inquiries together with Technical Support team.
• Support and collaborate with different teams.
• Continuous improvement and development of the process related to the commissioning, repairs and upgrades of control systems dedicated to products.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an electrical field.
• Experience within marine industry is considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of propulsion control systems is considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of propulsion products (mechanical) is considered as an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High motivation to work.
• Ability to exercise judgement and act on own initiative.
• Ability and willing to assist back office as technical support.
• High focus on problem solving.
