We are looking for motivated service engineers to take the role as Service / Project Engineer in our automation department in Oslo. In this position you will be part of planning and execution of engineering activities such as HW / SW design, programming, on-site implementation, test, service and commissioning on ABBs control systems. The projects are mainly modification projects and control system upgrades in the oil and gas sector (onshore and offshore) and process industries onshore.

The technology will typically be 800xA, Advant, Safeguard and Melody. The position is located at ABB’s office in Fornebu.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of engineering activities such as HW / SW design, implementation, test and commissioning (onshore and offshore) on ABBs control systems
• Control system setup and configuration
• Programming of ABB controllers and HMI
• Travelling on service and site trips must be expected
