Project Expeditor - BNE

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Expeditor to join the Blue Water Shipping team in our Brisbane office. Reporting to the Project Manager, your focus will be on facilitating the timely flow of materials or products between the Supplier and Project Client. This position has potential for professional growth and development as our business continues to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the supplier of goods to timely and efficiently commence expediting process of newly raised client POs
• Update PO / material supply due date (SDD) using client’s / BWS expediting platform
• Monitor readiness of orders in compliance with BWS and Project guidelines, ensuring the ROS date is met
• Keep expediting records up to date and in compliance with BWS and Project guidelines
• Identify and communicate order delays to mitigate potential project challenges
• Resolve delays to meet critical project deadlines
• Ensure that correct order documentation is issued by the vendor upon order release
• Arrange collections of orders ready to ship and monitor orders arrival at BWS depot
• Manage and resolve OS&Ds in a timely manner
• Prepare expediting and OS&D reports using BWS and customer software
• Monitor and meet project KPIs
• Work closely with the project team to ensure uninterrupted and efficient movement of inbound and outbound project material
• Regularly update Project Management on project progress and challenges
• Continuously look for improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency of the client’s supply chain and BWS 3PL process
