At Veracyte, we offer opportunities for those interested in joining a team transforming cancer care for patients globally. This role works with the General Manager to define and execute the commercial plan for the Nordics region, focusing on the diagnostic version of the nCounter platform and in vitro diagnostic assays (starting with Prosigna) and future launches. The Senior Regional Business Manager is responsible for sales revenue in the Nordics and for growing Veracyte\'s diagnostic business through strategic engagement with National Centers and key Private Centers, articulating how Veracyte\'s tests improve outcomes and reduce costs through accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. This role requires interaction with senior oncologists and pathologists, market analysis to identify opportunities, and collaboration with marketing and medical teams to plan and execute regional and global activities such as congresses, tradeshows, and seminars.

Essential Functions

  • Launch and maintain Prosigna assay(s) and other diagnostic products in the sales region; maximize sales, develop the market, and increase test demand
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy to launch diagnostic tests in key Private Centers and Academic Hospitals, including securing reimbursement with regional market access teams
  • Develop a commercial activities plan for the area in close collaboration with the medical team, including tender management and business development opportunities
  • Be responsible for personal performance and progress against goals established with the line manager
  • Provide timely feedback to the line manager and address issues accordingly
  • Promote Prosigna through marketing activities to the breast cancer community; attend relevant congresses and seminars; marketing efforts aligned with regional / global strategy, budget, and medical affairs guidance
  • Develop commercial activities related to Diagnostic Business in the assigned territory in line with strategy defined by the IVD General Manager and approved by Veracyte Leadership; comply with quality policies and local / global regulatory requirements
  • Regular travel across the assigned territory is required

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of commercial experience with revenue responsibility and a track record of launching oncology drugs and / or diagnostics, in lean, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in Sales and Market Development, especially in growing oncology businesses in Norway and the Nordics
  • Experience launching a commercially successful drug, molecular diagnostic, or sales of a companion diagnostic to the oncology community is valued
  • Strong communication skills to work with clinicians, KOLs, and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the diagnostic market in the region
  • Experience with breast and / or prostate cancer diagnostics preferred
  • Native or resident of the Nordics region with familiarity of local culture
  • Influencing skills with oncologists and pathologists; track record of negotiating and closing deals with hospitals and health authorities
  • Autonomous work style within a structured corporate environment; flexible and culturally sensitive
  • Strong leadership, project and time management; excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support teamwork
  • Scientific background (biologist, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine, etc.) preferred
  • Commercial diagnostics or pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
