Researcher Project for Experienced Scientists (FRIPRO | Norway | all disciplines)

The Researcher Project for Experienced Scientists (FRIPRO) from The Research Council of Norway (RCN) – Norges Forskningsråd supports curiosity-driven and bold research that can contribute to advancing the state-of-the-art. FRIPRO supports both basic and applied research in all research areas. This call is aimed at experienced scientists in Norway who have demonstrated the ability to conduct research of high scientific quality. Priority will be given to projects with women project managers when the applications are otherwise assessed equally. Applicants must have an approved doctoral degree or obtained associate professor qualifications.

Applicants may apply for 3 years of funding to cover salary, overhead, research costs, and relocation expenses to a maximum of 12 million NOK.

Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time.
