Researcher Project for Scientific Renewal (Thematic Call | Norway)

The Researcher Project for Scientific Renewal (Thematic Call) from The Research Council of Norway (RCN) – Norges Forskningsråd supports high-quality research in Norway on the following topics :

• Cross-cutting topics
• Democracy and global development
• The research system
• Climate and the environment
• Food and bioresources
• Welfare and education

The call is aimed at researchers in Norway who have demonstrated the ability to conduct research of high scientific quality and have achieved the academic rank of Associate Professor.

The award provides funding of up to 12 million NOK for up to 72 months.

Applications open on January 22 and close on March 5, 2025.
