Senior Electrical Engineer

Details

Duration : 15.04.2024 - December 2024 with option for extension

Location : Fornebu, Oslo

Assignment Description

Design and engineering of cables according to applicable NEK standards and RENblader
Cooperate with electrical PRE and electrical system engineer on developing cable sizing philosophy, cable routing and cable design & Calculation
Ensure all the electrical part of scope relevant for the modeling to be included in E3D
Provide the layout drawings relevant for placement of electrical equipment
Providing inputs to Civil on location and arrangement in the technical building
Cooperate with PRE on developing supplier vital interface information list (VIIL)
Ensure good understanding of all the interfaces and battery limits towards other contractors and reach common understanding with other involved parties
Contribute to a safe, positive work environment
Ensure good understanding of the scope of work for electrical equipment
Good cooperation with Electrical PRE and Electrical system engineer
Good cooperation with other disciplines to exchange all the necessary inputs and data to the electrical equipment
Coordination with client, other partners / sub-contractor on providing all the data needed with respect to location and layouts
Responsible for electrical area design with cable engineering as main activity
Report to Electrical Lead all matters of importance, including progress and any change in the scope of work or any deviation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering

Extensive practical experience

Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NEK (and IEC), RENblader, NORSOK

Experience and knowledge on FEBDOK and REN-grøft is an advantage

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment

High level English and Norwegian is a requirement, both written and spoken.
