Do you want to put your mark on a popular café in the heart of the fjords? Laksen Bakery & Café, located inside the Wild Salmon Centre in Lærdal, opened in 2021 and has quickly grown from a seasonal café into a year-round success. Now we are looking for a Chef who can take the lead in the kitchen and help shape the future of Laksen.
At Laksen, we take pride in offering freshly baked goods and homemade food made from local, quality ingredients – combining authentic flavors from both Norway and abroad. Our concept includes “Grab & Run” options, take-away pizza, as well as cozy indoor and outdoor dining. Guests join us for a cold drink with their pizza, or to bring a freshly packed meal on their mountain adventure.
Your role
As our new Chef, you will create simple, genuine, and tasty dishes such as pizza, soups, salads, and sandwiches – always with quality, freshness, and short-travelled produce in focus. You will work closely with both the kitchen and service teams, ensuring our guests leave with memorable experiences.
