The Opportunity

DNV Cyber is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Finance Director to lead and elevate the financial function of our global cybersecurity business. As our Finance Director you will play a pivotal role in ensuring profitable growth, with responsibilities spanning financial planning and reporting, operational excellence, governance and compliance, and the development of a future-fit finance culture.

You will report directly to the CEO of DNV Cyber, based in Finland, with a functional reporting line to the Finance Director of Business Area – The Accelerator, which includes DNV Cyber. You will manage a team of direct and indirect reports.

  • Experience supporting M&A, investments, and integration activities
  • Exposure to technology, cybersecurity, or other complex, fast-paced sectors
  • Experience with different business models and how these can be leveraged to improve financial and commercial performance
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing finance teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across borders
  • Strong commercial mindset, and ability to impact and drive commercial improvement initiatives
