Role Description

Areas of responsibility

• Manage and coordinate marine protection work in the project. This may include cable burial by Capjet’s, Subsea Rock installation, mattress installation etc.
• Develop project specific procedures. This may include protection procedures for operations by Capjet’s, Subsea Rock installation, mattress installation etc.
• Contribute to information sharing between the project, other projects and the Marine Installation Department (not only Dep 799), both during the engineering and installation phase
• Make sure that the protection work in the project is performed in accordance with the client and project requirements
• Be a QHSE role model
• Assist Project Marine Lead Engineer to perform the project according to the Clients PEM (project execution model)

Expected results

Have the responsibility of the technical solution of the marine protection SOW and be a technical resource during planning and executing the SOW, assist the Marine Lead Engineer to follow up on the schedule, cost and resources for the main SOW
