Assignment Description

The Commissioning Engineer F&G Systems is part of the FFA PWP Commissioning Team and reports functionally to the Commissioning System Lead SAS. The purpose of the position is to plan, prepare and deliver the required strategy, procedures and documentation needed to carry out FFA Commissioning activities on the Valhall PWP Fire & Gas Systems. This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord and will mobilize offshore when required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ensuring completions and commissioning requirements of all client projects are carried out safely and efficiently by FFA, and meet all client project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
• Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to the PWP Project Completion Strategy.
• Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
• Provide guidance and direction to relevant disciplines to maintain a high focus on health, safety and the environment to achieve client expectations.
• Provide commissioning support to the project as required, including ensuring sufficient manning according to project needs.
• When required, act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases.
• As part of the Valhall PWP Commissioning SAS Team, contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules and cost estimates associated with the commissioning scope for relevant F&G deliverables.
• Contribute and advise on Fire & Gas testing and verification input to the overall Completion strategy and planning, ensuring compliance with client requirements and relevant performance standards.
• Manage relevant contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Fire & Gas System commissioning.
• With relevant disciplines and package teams, provide knowledge and participation related to :
• Witness contractor / supplier tests as necessary (FAT / SAT).
• Follow up field installations ensuring correct quality and scheduled installation according to the commissioning schedule.
• Develop, review, and implement F&G commissioning procedures.
• Implement the commissioning scope on site and offshore.
• Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
• At site(s) and offshore, lead and coordinate the commissioning test team in connection with dynamic commissioning.
• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.
