Role Overview :

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Cloud Sales Representative to join our Oracle Cloud Sales team in Norway . This role will focus on building strong relationships with new and existing clients, driving the adoption of Oracle’s cloud solutions, and achieving aggressive sales targets in the region.

As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Oracle’s suite of cloud products (including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Applications, and related services). You will engage with senior business leaders, IT decision-makers, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and help them leverage Oracle's cloud offerings to drive innovation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Leadership : Take full ownership of the sales process for the Norwegian market, driving sales from prospecting to deal closure, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.

Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and technical teams across a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, and government.

Market Penetration : Identify and target new business opportunities, expanding Oracle’s footprint in existing accounts while developing new, high-potential clients.

Consultative Selling : Understand the customer’s business challenges and IT needs to position Oracle’s cloud solutions effectively. Develop tailored solutions to meet the customer’s goals and objectives.

Quota Achievement : Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for both new cloud bookings and consumption growth. Manage a sales pipeline with a focus on short and long-term opportunities.

Collaboration & Teamwork : Work closely with the wider Oracle sales teams (including presales, technical specialists, and customer success teams) to ensure a seamless sales process and delivery of solutions.

Market Insights : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the cloud industry, including competitor products, emerging technologies, and customer expectations. Share market insights with the team and help influence strategy.

Forecasting & Reporting : Accurately forecast sales and revenue and manage all sales activities through Oracle’s CRM system (Salesforce).

Key Qualifications :

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is essential, both written and spoken.
  • Proven sales experience in cloud technology or IT solutions sales, ideally with experience selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS offerings.
  • Proven track record of quota achievement and successful sales strategies, with a demonstrated ability to drive new business and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to engage with executives, understanding their business needs and how Oracle’s cloud solutions can drive value.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills , with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a simple and compelling way.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Experience in managing a complex sales cycle , from lead generation through to negotiation and closing.
  • Familiarity with Oracle's cloud offerings is an advantage, though not required.
