Location : Kristiansand or Stavanger, Norway

Type : Hybrid / On-Site

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with broad technical expertise and a passion for high-quality software. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust systems spanning front-end and back-end services. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—product owners, UX / UI, QA, DevOps, and domain experts—to build and scale our next-generation digital solutions.

Please note : Work permit in Norway is required.

You will need

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Hands-on experience with NHibernate, Entity Framework (or similar ORM)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design (performance tuning, schema design)
  • Familiarity with High Availability solutions and best practices
  • Understanding of software design patterns, best practices, and version control (Git).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain web applications using .NET (C#) for backend and Vue for frontend.
  • Utilize NHibernate (or similar ORMs) for object-relational mapping to ensure efficient data access
  • Design and optimize relational database schemas using SQL
  • Design and develop HA (High Availability) solutions, implementing load balancing, failover strategies, and resilient architectures
  • Develop real-time features using SignalR (or similar technology) for in-app notifications, collaboration tools, and live data updates
  • Develop RESTful APIs and collaborate with customers and partners to integrate solutions
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Familiarity with WITSML and OSDU data standards as well as knowledge of drilling and well operations is a plus (not required)
  • Familiarity with time-series databases is a plus
