Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Integrator to join our team, contributing across sales, newbuilds, retrofits, and aftermarket projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical power components and how they interact within complex maritime power systems. As a System Integrator, you will play a key role in defining component selection criteria, advising on design solutions, and leading the integration and interfacing of equipment from multiple suppliers. Your responsibility will be to ensure that all systems work seamlessly together and meet technical specifications.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead system integration and interface coordination across suppliers.
  • Participate in design verification and technical evaluations.
  • Prepare and follow up on RFQs and third-party deliveries.
  • Conduct system analysis and performance assessments.
  • Provide technical support throughout project phases.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the maritime industry.
  • Familiarity with VARD and / or Vard Electro systems is an advantage.
  • Preferred areas of expertise :
  • Electrical power distribution systems

  • Switchboards and control panels
  • Frequency converters
  • Electric motors and generators
  • Power Management Systems (PMS)
  • Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR)
  • Dynamic Positioning Systems (DP2 / DP3)
  • Personal qualities

  • Self-driven and outgoing personality.
  • Able to work independently and within international teams.
  • Able to learn on-the-go and utilize knowledge in effective and tidy ways.
  • Able to work and solve tasks in hectic work environments.
