Overview

Job Description : SAP TMS (Transportation Management) Consultant with a strong background in both technical development and functional configuration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of SAP TM processes, with SAP certification considered a strong plus. This role requires hands-on experience in SAP TM implementation, integration, and support, delivering end-to-end logistics solutions for global projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP TM implementation and support activities, handling both functional configuration and technical development tasks.
  • Analyze business requirements, design and configure SAP TM solutions (including master data, planning, execution, collaboration, and charge management).
  • Develop and maintain enhancements, custom objects, interfaces, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in SAP TM environments.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP TM solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and share knowledge across teams.
  • Prepare technical specifications, documentation, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
  • Support project lifecycle, including blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
  • Ensure SAP TM solutions are aligned with best practices and organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong techno-functional expertise in SAP TM (Transportation Management), with a track record of successful project implementations and / or support.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end SAP TM business processes (planning, execution, charge management, fleet, and carrier management).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP TM customization, configuration, and integration to other SAP modules (such as SAP ECC, S / 4HANA, EWM, and SD).
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming for developing custom objects, enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, reports, and interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of working effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    • Preferred

  • SAP TM certification.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA Transportation Management.
  • Knowledge of Fiori apps and SAP UI5 for TM.
  • Exposure to Agile or Activate project methodologies.
