JobbeskrivelseMatric / Grade 12 N2 with valid trade test Valid driver’s license Preference will be given to candidates with more than 3 years relevant experience in a Heavy industry / Mining environment. Specific areas include conveyor belts, screw conveyors, Pan conveyors, gearboxes, Vertical Roller Mills, Bucket Elevators, Packers, Hydraulic systems, Blowers, Compressors, screens and pumps. Strong inclination to technical, root cause identification and problem-solving skills Pro-active, self-disciplined and solution driven Ability to adapt to harsh working environments Good interpersonal skills Good overall housekeeping Adhere to maintenance systems and policies Promote the maintenance team to benchmark standards Standby duties and overtime Ability to execute tasks timeously Prompt reaction time to breakdowns and requests Good time management to complete each task in the optimum time Proper job and spares planning Accurate administration or related issues (timekeeping, history feedback, repair text, job cards) Adherence to systems and authority levels Legitimacy within area of responsibility (MHSA) Value-based management (Continuous improvement of work methods, tools, standardisation) Active participation in SHE Management Housekeeping (tools / environment) Supporting the Vital Elements of a Performing organisation Customer service (Quality / Flexibility / Delivery on time / After Service) Effective communication and teamwork
