Are you a skilled automation engineer with experience in the oil and gas industry?

Our team in Oslo is seeking a talented Senior Automation Engineer (SW) to join us. If you have approximately 5 years of experience and expertise in Siemens Simatic PCS7 (or similar advanced control systems), this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our department of professionals, working on varied and challenging projects both nationally and internationally.

Job Responsibilities :

Evaluate and approve documentation from subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry legislation.
Program and configure process control systems (PLC).
Develop project documentation such as functional descriptions and testing procedures.
Monitor and report on progress for assigned work packages.
Conduct on-site testing and support offshore commissioning.

Qualifications :

Educated in Automation, Cybernetics, or a related field (BSc or MSc).

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with PLC-based process control systems.

Strong experience with Siemens SIMATIC PCS7 or similar advanced control systems.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting system control diagrams (SCD).

Experience with Comos is highly advantageous.

Experience from EICT projects in the oil and gas sector is a plus.

Familiarity with industry standards, such as NORSOK, is beneficial.

Personal Qualities :

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Analytical, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.

Comfortable working in an interdisciplinary environment.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); Norwegian is an advantage.
