We have built this rocketship called Wolt, on a mission to make cities better places to live through technology. Our local commerce platform simplifies ordering for customers, enables merchants to increase sales, and helps couriers earn flexibly.

Wolt develops a variety of technologies, from local commerce platforms to retail software and financial solutions. We also operate grocery stores under Wolt Market. Founded in (year), we joined forces with DoorDash in (year). Today, DoorDash operates in 27 countries, with 25 under the Wolt brand.

In Norway, we are present in 28 cities and are expanding. Food delivery was just the start; we aim to deliver a wide range of products, including supermarkets, flowers, toys, and books, expanding our retail platform.

To achieve this, we need a team of motivated sales superheroes to establish relationships with retailers our Norwegian customers want to order from. Your role as the Enterprise Sales Manager - Retail is to be a true hunter.

We seek self-motivated, entrepreneurial, high-energy sales professionals who think strategically, are comfortable with conceptual and solution selling, and can generate momentum within large organizations.

We want candidates who can execute sales passionately, always maximizing opportunities.

What you'll be doing

  • Define a sales strategy aligned with management objectives.
  • Build and manage your pipeline of potential partnerships.
  • Understand the competition and retail verticals (supermarkets, convenience stores, florists, bakeries, etc.) and identify key players.
  • Target new retail partners according to company strategy within your geographical area.
  • Establish relationships with high-level stakeholders (VPs, EVPs, C-suite) and smaller partners (shop managers, owners).
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including technical, legal, and financial aspects.
  • Manage prospect and client expectations effectively.

  • Extensive B2B sales experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of business practices and industry trends.
  • A natural hunter with a proven track record of closing complex deals and building a portfolio from scratch.
  • Consultative sales approach, able to tailor offerings and demonstrate ROI.
  • Work ethic with consistent over-achievement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, translating data into actionable insights and KPIs.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, with excellent communication skills.
