To strengthen our Procurement & Planning team, we are hiring a Procurement Governance Manager with strong coordination, compliance, and process management skills. As Procurement Governance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier-related compliance and coordinating project procurement processes. You will be key in ensuring that our procurement processes are consistent, transparent, and aligned with both internal and external requirements.

The position reports to the Vice President Procurement. The work location for this position will be at Hatteland Technology’s headquarters in Aksdal.

Tasks and responsibilities

As Procurement Governance Manager, your key tasks will include coordinating supplier compliance activities, with a special focus on ESG requirements – particularly environmental compliance (e.g. REACH, RoHS, SCIP, WEEE) – as well as other relevant quality, legal, and supplier-specific requirements. You will manage supplier approval and evaluation processes, including risk assessments and documentation control, ensuring supplier compliance declarations and supporting documents are collected, verified, and maintained in the relevant systems.

Other key responsibilities include :

• Preparing, negotiating, and maintaining NDAs, supplier contracts, and other procurement-related agreements
• Coordinating project-related Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes – from gathering input from R&D and purchasers to structuring, initiating, tracking, and consolidating supplier responses
• Supporting purchasers in areas requiring compliance knowledge, legal follow-up, or process coordination
• Developing and maintaining procurement-related process descriptions, tools, and templates
• Contributing to improved transparency and consistency in the end-to-end purchasing process

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with solid knowledge of procurement processes and supplier lifecycle management. Experience with ESG compliance and environmental regulations relevant to suppliers – such as REACH, RoHS, SCIP, and WEEE – is essential. You should also have proven experience in handling supplier contracts and NDAs, including drafting support and negotiation.

To succeed in this role, you should bring strong organizational and coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple internal interfaces, and a structured, detail-oriented working style. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Additional languages are a plus.
