JobbeskrivelseRelevant EIT professional experience with supporting documentation. Strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret : Layout drawings. Loop drawings. P&IDs. Job cards. Familiarity with NORSOK and other Norwegian industry standards. Hands-on experience with electrical and instrument activities. Valid FSE course certification. NOG 143 or OLF 120 (tubing and fitting) : relevant experience may compensate. ATEX maintenance, Compex, or similar : relevant experience with ATEX equipment may compensate. Fall harness course. Self-motivated and proactive. Strong team player with a solution-oriented mindset. Proficient with IT tools and systems. Technical education in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or Telecommunications. 5+ years of experience in EIT construction. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe PDF tools.
About the role
We are currently seeking EIT Field Engineers to join a dynamic project team on a rotational basis. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications (EIT) systems in a construction setting.
You will be part of a collaborative EIT Field Engineering group, ensuring quality control and resolving technical issues on-site.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the EIT Field Engineer group.
- Perform 97–100% quality control of work packs received from construction.
- Investigate and resolve technical holds and lift issues.
- Liaise with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical queries.
- Report directly to the Completion Field Engineer Lead.
- Follow up on interdisciplinary documentation as needed.
