Principal Software Engineer Build the Future of Risk Modeling

Bislab is a fast-growing, product-focused tech company building the next generation of credit risk models helping people avoid financial distress, access essential services, and reduce loan fraud.

We work hands-on with real data, real users, and real impact already powering automated decisions across the Nordics.

We're now hiring two Principal Software Engineers to lead our backend and data platform efforts building secure, scalable, and AI-ready infrastructure essential for our international growth.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Engineer ready to take full ownership of a platform with high influence, real equity, and the chance to shape how AI and data come together in production.

Responsibilities

We face exciting challenges and have ambitious plans for the future. We primarily work with C#, Python, Azure, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j. As part of Bislab, you'll :

Take lead responsibility for developing and managing a secure and scalable data platform that analyzes large datasets across borders

Build infrastructure that supports algorithms for credit assessment, risk analysis, and fraud detection

Implement robust security solutions for handling sensitive data

Requirements

An experienced developer who values product ownership and influence over the company's future

Motivated by working in a dynamic environment where your contribution matters

Interested in our technology stack, potentially with experience in operations and operational tasks

Passionate about creating products that have a positive impact on society

What We Offer

Total comp up to 1.5M NOK, including equity (structured to your preferences)

Base salary tied to ARR milestones as we grow, so does your pay
