About the program

In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop the skills necessary to kickstart a career in ABBs Service division. As a trainee you will be a part of a community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program you will also receive support from Program Lead.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB’s businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and on-site inspections as needed.
• Some traveling may be required for training purposes.
• Planning, engineering, and follow-up of service projects of varying size and complexity.
• Gain firsthand experience of the operations of the company through various assignments over the course of the program.
• Participate in formal training to develop personal and / or leadership (as support for project managers) skills in preparation for future professional roles.
