What’s the role?

As a Backend Developer at Spond, you'll be part of a cross-functional team with frontend developers, product managers, and designers. We work as one team, involved in the full process, from brainstorming ideas and defining features to launch, operations, and continuous improvements.

You'll :

  • Develop and maintain microservices in Java and Go , running on Kubernetes in AWS
  • Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and developers to build solutions that solve real user needs
  • Improve performance and stability across systems (we handle more than 1 billion requests per week )
  • Automate and optimize CI / CD pipelines with CircleCI
  • Support high availability with monitoring, troubleshooting, and on-call participation

    • We\'re looking for someone who :

  • Has experience developing and running large-scale Java and / or Go microservices
  • Thinks with a product mindset , always considering the end user in technical decisions
  • Works in a structured, solution-oriented way , and enjoys writing clean, maintainable code
  • Has a continuous desire to learn and share knowledge
