Mid / Senior Motion Designer

Overview

Flabbergast is an IT company specializing in mobile apps and software solutions. We are looking for a designer to join our team as a Motion Designer in Zagreb, Croatia. The role is offered at Mid or Senior level and is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Lead (Senior) or contribute meaningfully (Mid) to motion design projects across platforms such as social media, ads, presentations, and UI / UX animations.
• Elevate visual storytelling with kinetic typography, animated branding, and dynamic visual effects.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), plus advanced tools like Cinema4D, Blender, and Premiere.
• Strong foundation in animation principles, visual storytelling, typography, color, timing, arcs, and anticipation.
• Collaborate across creative, design, and marketing teams; at Senior level, mentor peers and lead motion design direction.
• Passionate about continuous learning and keen to explore 3D, AR / VR intersections, new rendering tools, and industry evolution.
• Energetic, collaborative, and eager to push our design craft to the next level.
