Be part of our Security Infrastructure and Connectivity department within the Enterprise Infrastructure Platform. One of the focus areas of this team is to enable the company to connect and collaborate by delivering secure network solutions.
The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to :
Contribute to plan the future strategy for data communication for Equinor together with the team.Engage with business units and partners, to provide domain expertise, advice and recommendations, based on Equinor’s standard and established frameworks.Liaise with vendors and partners to identify the latest in security, networking, telecommunication, and cloud technologies including surrounding industry best practices.Design and architect for automation and “infrastructure as code”. Focus on increased levels of automation and self-service across our services.Collaborate closely with Cyber security to constantly monitor and develop barriers against threats.You

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Networking or related disciplines.Knowledge of IT infrastructure and connectivity (examples : routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing and related technologies) is required. Industry level certificates will be advantageous.Knowledge of “infrastructure as code” and automation would be advantageous.Knowledge of or an interest in learning about cloud and scripting (examples; phyton, ansible).Strong mindset in IT security and operational excellence, along with ability to understand and handle risks.Teamwork across disciplines and organisational units.Ability to obtain a security clearance in Norway.Fluency in English, both written and oral.General information
