Senior Engineering Manager

Your new role

As our new engineering manager, you will be part of a growing team of highly competent people in Norway.

We deliver studies, FEED and detail engineering solutions to customers across the energy industry in Norway and globally. Our market segments include hydrogen and e-fuels, biofuels, waste-to-energy, CCS and wind.

As an engineering manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure delivery of a design solution in line with customer expectations (quality, time and cost) and Rambøll requirements and best practices.

Your key responsibilities will be :

• Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet project objectives.
• Managing technical requirements and engineering scope of work.
• Managing technical interfaces between engineering disciplines (internal / external).
• Supporting the project manager in ensuring that the project activities are planned and executed.
• Planning and leading interdisciplinary design meetings and design reviews.
• Promoting the exploration and development of opportunities to improve the sustainability of the solution, in line with customer requirements.
• Identifying and managing changes to the design and / or scope of work in collaboration with the Project Manager and / or Change Manager.
• Actively supporting our business development function in client meetings and tender preparation.
• Managing and leading technical discussions with the client.
• Managing the external design approval process, if required.
• Supporting competence development of the design team.
