The position will be located at Site, Fitjar / Samnager, and it will be a rotational position, 13-15 rotations.

Assignment Description

As a team member of the Yggdrasil PfS commissioning team, contribute to delivering the Yggdrasil PfS system according to plan and cost, and assist in ensuring the Project Team delivers in accordance with client BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.

Assist in preparation of schedule input, cost input, commissioning (preparation, planning, execution), leader for safety (FSE), and handover.

The Completion Engineer Electrical shall perform and control completion and commissioning activities related to electrical systems, including planning, preparation, execution, and handover to the next phase.

This role will act as the Leader for Safety (FSE) in connection with work on and in close proximity to HV apparatus.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain safe working routines during construction and commissioning to ensure full compliance with Yggdrasil PfS safety regulations, aiming for zero incidents, injuries, and losses.
• Review contractors’ installation procedures for electrical apparatus.
• Participate in establishing the contractors' commissioning team with the necessary competence and capacity.
• Review and create commissioning procedures for dedicated systems.
• Maintain commissioning boundary documentation for efficient schedules.
• Lead commissioning activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical systems.
• Ensure training and development of personnel within the commissioning organization related to electrical installations.
• Verify that contractor personnel have relevant training certifications for working on or near HV apparatus.
• Participate in MC verification of equipment to obtain Ready for Commissioning status.
• Follow up on punch work, documentation, and clearance.
• Ensure drawings and documents are updated with changes during commissioning.
• Transfer experience between projects and to the base organization.
• Identify and follow up on risks and opportunities related to construction and commissioning.
• Evaluate procedures and work instructions used during commissioning.
• Assess provisions for commissioning in design.
• Maintain good relationships with contractors and operations.
• Lead, execute, and supervise commissioning activities.
• Responsible for handover to operations with RFOC.
• Participate in developing strategies, budgets, plans, procedures, and work processes for commissioning.
• Execute commissioning according to client documents.
• Propose needed temporaries for commissioning execution.
• Recommend Commissioning SPIR.
• Participate in meetings to ensure commissioning tasks are properly executed.
