Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all electrical engineering activities across EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) project phases, including FEED and feasibility studies.
- Ensure all electrical deliverables meet schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Interface with internal disciplines (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Automation) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, subcontractors).
- Prepare, review, and approve technical specifications, datasheets, electrical schematics, layouts, calculations, and technical reports.
- Support procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations, equipment specifications, and vendor document reviews.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, ATEX, IECEx) and company procedures.
Requirements
Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead Engineer role .Proven track record in energy projects, preferably within an EPC environment.Strong knowledge of LV / MV / HV electrical distribution systems, motors, protection and control systems, UPS systems, lighting, and grounding.Proficiency in electrical design, modelling, and analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SmartPlant Electrical, or similar).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.Excellent command of written and spoken English (Norwegian language skills are an advantage but not essential).Membership of a recognised professional body, ideally chartered or working towards chartership.Experience in both onshore and international projects.Familiarity with EPC phases and project development workflows.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate effectively in complex, multicultural environments.Knowledge of Norwegian standards and regulations is a plus.All applications must be submitted through the application link.
