Job Responsibilities
- Perform and verify the design of electrical installations
- Act as Package Responsible Engineer
- Define and design heat trace requirements in line with P&IDs
- Prepare, check, and approve MTOs
- Prepare, check, and approve technical requisitions
- Coordinate and follow up with vendors
- Maintain data in the engineering registry
- Develop engineering work packages
- Collaborate and interface with other disciplines
- Conduct site surveys
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering disciplineWork Experience
Proven experience in electrical engineering for large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental ShelfStrong knowledge of electrical design in accordance with NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC standardsFamiliarity with Equinor technical requirements (TRs), STID, and ProcosysQualifications
Ability to work independently as well as within a teamGood multidisciplinary understandingStrong communication skillsCooperative and solution-oriented working attitudeSystematic, accurate, and efficient approach to workCreative, proactive, and willing to share knowledge and experienceProficient in English and Norwegian, both oral and writtenCertificates
