Overview
Account Manager - Strategic Energy Customer is responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with one of ABB's most important strategic customers in the Norwegian energy sector. You will be part of an Account Team focused on the customer’s operated assets in Norway, collaborating with the Global Account Team and internal stakeholders to drive growth and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop trust-based, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the customer organization.
- Gain deep insight into the customer’s business goals to ensure ABB delivers the right solutions.
- Develop and implement account plans aligned with ABB’s and the customer’s objectives.
- Address and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities within the customer’s asset portfolio and drive revenue growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report on performance to ensure targets are met and strategies remain effective.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology and commercial roles (e.g., project management, engineering, sales, or industry-related roles).Proven track record of delivering results.BSc / MSc in a relevant field (technical, business, or management). Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.Strong technical understanding combined with a commercial mindset.Experience in sales, finance, or customer management is an advantage but not a requirement.Location
Fornebu, Stavanger, Bergen, or Stord.
